This installation of a scroll painting spirals through time to show how marginalised communities’ psychological states and behaviours have changed over time. It depicts four phases of change: from light to darkness, through struggle, and towards a new dawn. It comments on the interaction between different classes and people. The ‘Symbiosis Tetralogy’ seeks to use history as a mirror for people to discover their true selves and their role in the era, echoing the ‘negation of negation’ in the evolution of civilisation.
